What You Can Expect
Our teeth whitening process is a very straightforward process,
but if you are concerned at all about your teeth whitening appointment get in contact with us and we'll make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
Preparing for Your Whitening Treatment
We do advise having a Hygiene visit prior to whitening to remove all deposits and extrinsic staining. We also advise having had a check up with a dentist within the last 12 months so there are no untreated cavities.
You should allow a minimum of 2 weeks before whitening following a dentist or hygienist treatment to enable your gums to heal if required.
Following treatment, you will need a 'white diet' for 24 hours to stabilise your new shade of white.
What this means is avoiding coloured food and drinks especially coffee, tea, coke, red wine, curries and nicotine products.
Examples of a white diet include pasta, rice, chicken, fish, gnocchi, cauliflower, white cheeses, and white wine.
While most clients have no sensitivity, if you have very sensitive teeth, chips or cracks these may be sensitive for up to 24 hours after treatment. Let us know and we'll help!
And don't forget to show off your beautiful smile!
